Modern Meets Traditional at Lavender Farm in Woodinville

Floral designers spend a lot of time studying and staring at flowers, (well, the kind of florist I am spends a lot of time). For some working with flowers is a production and for some it is a creative expression and a celebration of nature. I got into flowers because of my love of beauty and design. It took many years of purposely placing stems and thinking about angles and shapes and second guessing myself. I have earned my instincts and my confidence as a designer, and it was hard.

All that is to say I am so grateful for the creative collaborations I have had with Kerry of Kerry Jeanne Photography. She asked me to do my very first photo shoot. Over the years we have done work together that I am so proud of. Kerry is a photographer who looks at a bouquet the same way a florist would. Her work is timeless, romantic and always beautiful.
